The 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) final between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium was a star-studded event, with several public figures who had their eyes glued on the players as the game unfolded.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar attended the event in a loose-fitted shirt, a casual white t-shirt underneath, and a pair of light blue jeans.
Kumar arrived at the event with Manushi Chhillar, his co-star in the upcoming film ‘Prithviraj’.
A video of him greeting fans has gone viral on social media.
Accompanying the 54-year-old actor was Ranveer Singh, who performed at the final’s closing ceremony a few hours ago. While his onstage look consisted of a sparkly blue ensemble, the ‘Padmaavat’ star opted for a breezy look to watch the match. Singh was seen sporting a red bucket hat, a bright yellow shirt, and a pair of white trousers.
While all eyes were on Kumar and Singh, the ‘Sooryavanshi’ duo, all ears were certainly on Aamir Khan, who made his commentary debut at the IPL 2022 final.
An image shared by former cricketer Suresh Raina features the ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ star in a checkered blazer, a black t-shirt and a pair of dark jeans.
Several other public figures attended the final, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who threw a peace sign as cameras panned at him. The 57-year-old was seen wearing a burgundy Nehru jacket and a white kurta.
Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, who wore a grey Nehru jacket and white kurta, was seen talking to Akshay Kumar.
